IT'S YOURS: HIP-HOP & THE INTERNET is a feature-length documentary that explores how Hip-Hop's innovative use of the Internet transformed the music industry.
Filmed over a decade, the film made its world premiere in London at the Doc N Roll Film Festival in 2019 under the title "IT'S YOURS (A Story of Hip-Hop & the Internet)." Its U.S. debut followed at the Pan-African Film Festival in Los Angeles in 2020, and it has since been featured in international festivals in Germany, Spain, the UK, France, Brazil, the Netherlands, Denmark, the U.S., and Italy.In 2021, ARTE France acquired and updated the film in co-production with Kidam Films, for broadcast in France , Germany, Italy, and Poland. In 2024, it was picked up for global distribution by Under The Milky Way. It is available to stream on Tubi from May1st 2025 and Prime Video from June 2025, in addition to VOD platforms.
